Security Essen 2026
From 22 to 25 September 2026, Security Essen takes place, the international meeting point for the security sector. In the halls of Messe Essen, leading manufacturers and service providers will present their latest solutions in the fields of armoured vehicles, civil protection, access control, video surveillance, perimeter security, fire protection and cybersecurity.
The trade fair is the central platform for trade visitors, decision-makers and security professionals from all over the world, offering a unique overview of technologies, trends and innovations.
New in 2026
For the first time, the Euro Defence Expo (EUDEX) will take place simultaneously at Messe Essen. This new trade fair focuses on stakeholders within the defence industry and underlines the growing importance of security policy in Europe. The civil protection section of the fair forms the substantive bridge between both events, creating new points of contact between civil security, defence, governments and the armed forces.
