LOXXER focuses exclusively on the safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries. Through this sharp focus, we offer innovative, reliable solutions that respond to the growing challenges and risks within this field.
Our solutions are tested with real batteries in thermal runaway, to guarantee their performance.
LOXXER offers the flexibility needed in a market with unclear regulations and high demand for safe products.
At LOXXER, sustainability isn’t a marketing term, but a principle we apply throughout our entire production process. That’s why we deliberately choose fire-resistant panels that are safe for people and the environment, while still performing reliably when it matters most. Our materials are carefully selected based on strict quality and environmental criteria, so you never have to choose between fire safety and a healthy living environment. By investing in high-quality, recyclable raw materials, we actively contribute to a smaller ecological footprint, without compromising on the reliability of our fire-resistant solutions.
Our fire-resistant panels are:
LOXXER was founded by Johan and Renée Pillen, who already had years of experience in the safety sector. The trigger for LOXXER arose when the automotive industry asked, a few years ago, for a solution for safely charging lithium-ion batteries. Research showed, however, that there were no existing solutions on the market that could handle the challenges of lithium-ion batteries, such as thermal runaway. With the growing number of battery fires and the increasing demand for safe solutions, Johan and Renée decided to develop a solution themselves. This is how LOXXER was born, with a mission: safe and efficient charging and storage solutions for lithium-ion batteries.
The Dutch standard PGS 37-2 is a guideline for the storage of hazardous substances in the Netherlands, including lithium-ion batteries. It sets specific requirements for storage in cabinets and containers and serves as the basis for the further development of our LOXXER products.
LOXXER obtained the KIWA certificate after extensive testing with batteries in thermal runaway. Both the fire resistance of the cabinet and the cabinet in combination with the use of the aerosol system were successfully tested.
LOXXER begins the internationalization of its distribution network. Participation in the A+A trade fair marked an important milestone in building the international network.
We are pleased to announce that our first international LOXXER office has opened in the Netherlands.
We proudly announce that LOXXER now also has a branch in London, strengthening our presence in the United Kingdom.
LOXXER places great importance on delivering quality products and meeting the required standards. LOXXER has therefore become a member of ESSA, the European organization for security products against burglary and fire. ESSA issues ECB•S certificates, which guarantee the safety and resistance of products.
The VDMA 24994 is a German industry standard that describes how Li-ion charging cabinets must be tested. Although no European standard yet exists, we ensure that our products meet the latest requirements and standards, and successfully so! Our charging cabinets passed the VDMA 24994 tests with flying colors, once again confirming our commitment to safety and quality.
We purchased a fire-resistant cabinet for battery storage, equipped with a self-extinguishing system. The cabinet is very solidly built and immediately conveys quality. Everything feels sturdy, safe and professional. The finish is also excellent. Honestly: at this price, you can't build a cabinet like this yourself. The price-quality ratio is therefore particularly good. We are very satisfied with our purchase and would definitely recommend this cabinet to companies wanting to store batteries safely and responsibly.
