Certificates
The LOXK2000 has been tested and certified to the VDMA 24994 standard. VDMA 24994 is the German standard for fire-safe storage and charging cabinets for lithium-ion batteries.
The test was carried out by Gryfitlab, an independent test laboratory accredited by ECB-S. 17 kWh of battery cells were placed in the cabinet. A battery was then deliberately heated until thermal runaway occurred, the most dangerous situation that can arise with lithium-ion batteries. During the test, the external temperature and the behaviour of the cabinet were measured, among other things.
The LOXK2000 passed the test with flying colours. The doors stayed closed, no flames or projectiles escaped, the external temperature remained within safe limits and the fire did not spread to other levels.
For you, this means demonstrable safety. You can store and charge your lithium-ion batteries safely, and you have a strong case to present to your insurer.
The LOXK1100 is the compact, single-door version in the LOXXER range. It has been tested and certified to the VDMA 24994 standard. VDMA 24994 is the German standard for fire-safe storage and charging cabinets for lithium-ion batteries.

ESSA awards the ECB•S certificates. These certificates provide independent proof that a product is safe and reliable. They are recognised across Europe as a quality mark.
As an ESSA member, LOXXER is committed to having its products tested to the strictest standards at recognised test laboratories. For example, our battery cabinets were tested to VDMA 24994 at Gryfitlab, one of the two test laboratories accredited by ECB•S for this test.

Would you like extra assurance? Then you can have your LOXXER cabinet fitted with the AF-X aerosol extinguishing system. This is an automatic extinguishing system specifically tested for lithium-ion battery fires.
The AF-X extinguishing system is certified by KIWA in accordance with BRL-K21045 and Specific Certification Scheme 05 for fire protection of lithium-ion storage. The tests were carried out in collaboration with the Peutz fire laboratory and KIWA, using real lithium-ion batteries of up to 160 Ah and 48 V.

All LOXXER storage and charging cabinets bear the CE marking. These are the LOXK1100, LOXK1100 VDMA, LOXK2000, LOXK2000 VDMA and LOX12. With the CE marking, LOXXER declares that these products meet the essential requirements of the European directives on:
Conformity is based on internal analyses, supplier analyses and certificates for the materials used. It is recorded in a signed EU declaration of conformity.
