The LOXK2000 VDMA cabinet has successfully passed the stringent VDMA 24994 test at a certified testing center. During the test, lithium-ion batteries are intentionally put into thermal runaway to evaluate the safety and performance of the cabinet. The LOXK2000 VDMA cabinet can be equipped with a certified aerosol extinguishing system as an optional extension. Upon smoke detection, the system is immediately activated and the aerosol spreads throughout the entire space of the cabinet. The extinguishing agent actively cools and controls the fire source, protecting other batteries in the cabinet and minimizing fire spread. Where other manufacturers allow batteries to burn out within a passive safe, Loxxer takes it a step further.
The LOXK2000 VDMA cabinet is designed for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries from e-bikes, e-scooters, hand and garden tools, drones, walkie-talkies, scanners, and similar equipment. The cabinet is an indoor application and is not intended for large traction batteries from forklifts or industrial battery packs.

The cabinet has 4 levels, each equipped with a charging strip of 8 sockets (max. 16A per socket), which amounts to 32 sockets in total. The number of batteries that can be charged simultaneously depends on the type of charger and the power per battery. The 4 adjustable fireproof shelves have a load capacity of max. 70 kg per shelf.
Yes, the cabinet is designed for wired connection to the fire control panel of your building. The built-in smoke and temperature detectors send a signal that can be integrated into your existing fire alarm system, depending on the type of system and the configuration on site.
The LOXK2000 VDMA cabinet is the large double-door cabinet with 5 compartments, 32 sockets, and a three-phase power supply, suitable for larger volumes and intensive professional use. The LOXK1100 is the compact single-door version with 3 compartments and 1 power strip, ideal for smaller workshops or locations with limited space. Both cabinets are VDMA 24994 certified.
