On Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September 2026, the Openbare Ruimte trade fair takes place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht (halls 2-3-4). The fair covers everything related to the design, layout, maintenance, and management of a smart, sustainable, and healthy living environment, bringing together governments and businesses shaping the public space of tomorrow.
Visitors are mainly professionals from municipalities, provinces, water authorities, and other government bodies, alongside companies active in both the green and grey public space sectors.
Programme
Alongside the exhibition floor, Openbare Ruimte offers an extensive programme of practical lectures, delivered by knowledge partners such as Stadswerk, VHG, RIONED, GPKL, Wageningen University & Research, and TU Delft. There is also an Innovation Gallery where companies can present new products and solutions.
