Brandweercongres 2026 – The Spark of Change
From 8 to 10 October 2026, fire service school Wobra in Zedelgem once again opens its doors for the annual fire service congress. Under the theme “The Spark of Change”, fire service professionals, industrial fire brigades and partners come together for three days of knowledge sharing, training and networking.
Programme
On Wednesday 8 October, the industrial fire brigade event takes centre stage, focusing on the specific challenges and developments within industrial fire brigades. On Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October, the full fire service congress follows, with lectures, workshops and demonstrations on the latest insights, techniques and equipment in the fire service profession.
This year’s theme, “The Spark of Change”, reflects the ongoing evolution within the sector: new technologies, changing risks and the need for fire service organisations to move with the times.
