LOXXER integrates AF-X aerosol extinguishing systems as standard in its li-ion charging cabinets and containers. In the event of a lithium-ion battery fire, the system responds within seconds. Autonomously, without external intervention. Safe for people, animals, and the immediate surroundings.
A lithium-ion battery that is charging, discharging, or in storage can, under certain conditions, overheat. That overheating can trigger a chain reaction in which the battery cell continues to heat itself until it catches fire. We call this phenomenon Thermal Runaway. The particular danger: the fire originates from inside the cell, develops extremely fast, and can defeat traditional extinguishing agents. Early detection is therefore critical.
Every LOXXER cabinet or container is equipped with two built-in smoke detectors. As soon as one detector registers smoke, the system is put on standby and a warning signal appears.
Upon confirmed detection, the AF-X aerosol generator is activated immediately. Without human intervention. Without delay.
The aerosol spreads rapidly throughout the entire internal volume of the cabinet or container and suppresses the fire at a chemical level — without water, without foam, without extinguishing powders that damage equipment.
Traditional extinguishing systems are designed for surface fires. A lithium-ion fire takes place inside the battery cell, and therefore requires a different approach. AF-X aerosol works at a molecular level: the active particles break down the chemical combustion chain and stop the reaction at the source.
The AF-X extinguishing system is integrated into the entire LOXXER product range designed for the storage of lithium-ion batteries.
Standard equipped with two smoke detectors and an AF-X unit
Compact integration for individual battery storage in public or professional spaces
Scalable installation for larger battery volumes and industrial applications
The AF-X system responds where and when it needs to, even when no one is present. Request advice and protect your battery storage from day one.
