Lithium-ion fire-rated cabinets

The Loxxer cabinet controls lithium fires at the first smoke detection. The ventilation and electricity automatically turn off immediately. The smoke detectors detect the smoke and send a notification via SMS. Also, the flashing light will provide a visual alarm. 

• 90 minutes flame resistant

• Active ventilation: Keeps heat build-up from batteries within acceptable limits.

• 2 door contacts: measure if doors are closed and notify the controller and integrated buzzer.

• Overpressure valve: in the event of a sudden rise in temperature, the overpressure valve will automatically open and allow the built-up pressure to reduce to normal atmospheric value.

• System over-warning integrated as standard into the controller's security concept.

• Alarm via audio-visual notifications, intelligent software and connectable to fire control center (SMS and  e-mail):
  • cabinet open for more than 5 min,
  • power failure,
  • fault in system monitoring,
  • temperature >55°C,
  • smoke detection.

In case of power failure, the cabinet is equipped with a UPS battery to maintain safety. The approved fire control panel (EN1209) provides an efficient connection to your existing fire control panel. A maintenance switch is provided for maintenance.

With temperature and smoke detection, the first indications of fire danger can be captured. The cabinet is equipped with 2 smoke detectors. This detector gives a signal to the controller after which the following steps are sequenced:

• Alarm via siren and red flashing light
• Forwarding to the intelligent software and general fire control center of the building
• Interrupt battery charging
• Switching off active ventilation
• Activating Aerosol fire suppression system
