With a temperature and smoke detection, the very first indications of fire danger can be captured. The cabinet is equipped with 2 smoke detectors. This detector gives signal to the controller after which the following steps are sequential:

The Loxxer cabinet controls lithium fires at the first smoke detection. The ventilation and electricity automatically shut down immediately, the Aerosol extinguishing system is activated and controls the fire for 90minutes. Simultaneously, there is an audio alarm and you receive a notification by SMS and in the app, about the situation in the cabinet.
The functionality of the cabinet can be divided into different areas. Each of these areas is continuously monitored, supervised and reported via the FP Controller via the control panel at the top of the cabinet.

Pro-activity is essential in reducing and/or eliminating hazards when stocking and charging Lithium-ion batteries.
Various situations will occur on the shop floor that may compromise safe operation of the cabinet and/or even prevent the cabinet from doing what it is supposed to do in the event of an acute fire of the Lithium-ion batteries.
A classification has been drawn up for these situations with various types of audio-visual alerts and the associated measures taken by the FP Controller.
FirePro works exclusively with an aerosol extinguishing system. This does not release water, but a gas composed of different elements.
A fire is a rapid succession of chemical and physical reactions between atoms and molecules (free radicals).
When the aerosol developed by FirePro is released during a fire, it very quickly prevents the free radicals from binding to each other. The system ensures that oxygen and fuel can no longer mix.
As a result, the fire cannot spread further, no dangerous Lithium-ion gases are produced and there is no explosion hazard.
Due to the rapid development of a Lithium-ion fire, the FirePro extinguishing system is equipped with a very fast fire detection. This activates the extinguishing system before the fire takes on major forms.
FirePro's Lithium-ion fire prevention and extinguishing system is unique of its kind, highly effective and minimises consequential damage. The aerosol released during the active extinguishing phase is harmless to humans, the environment and stored equipment.
